Concrete pouring process begins at Skyline, Armenia’s first residential district with skyscrapers
More than 200 concrete trucks, about 2,400 cubic meters of concrete, and 30 hours of uninterrupted work. Concrete pouring processes have begun at Skyline, an innovative “city-in-a-city” district that incorporates Armenia’s first-ever skyscrapers. This marked the longest continuous concrete pouring process in Armenia.
This construction stage is both significant in its scale and unprecedented in the volume of the work and its simultaneous implementation.
As with other projects carried out by Renshin, the process was conducted in accordance with high international standards under the supervision of leading companies of the field. The international architectural studio Laguarda.Low was in charge of the architectural style of the district, and the world-famous Arup, responsible for managing the engineering of the tallest buildings in Dubai, London, Singapore, and other cities, is working on the structural engineering and technical planning of Skyline.
Rising up at the Baghramyan-Orbeli crossroad with its five 35-story buildings, the tallest Armenia has seen so far, this new district will be visible from almost all parts of Yerevan, setting a new height in the architectural field. The start of concrete pouring is not only a construction stage, but also a symbolic moment for modern urban development in Armenia. Skyline presents itself as the embodiment of innovative ideas - a future apartment built on a solid foundation.
