“Share Architects” comes to Armenia with the support of “Renshin”

Acknowledging the importance of international experience, professional networking, and the development of the architectural sphere in Armenia, “Renshin” once again had its input in organising a prestigious international event in Yerevan, this time, joining “Share Architects” forum as the main sponsor.

Taking place on the 30-th of September, this international forum featured speakers from world-renowned architectural bureaus and studios like BIG, Zaha Hadid Architects, SOM, and UNS, and presented the participants of the event with the most innovative international projects in the scene.

As mentioned by the president of the Armenian Association of Developers, NGO, Gurgen Grigoryan, “Besides being beneficial for the local architectural community, our participation at this forum will greatly impact the urban development industry.”

The organisation of the event in Armenia was also encouraged by the city mayor, Tigran Avinyan, and the head of the administrative district of Yerevan, Petros Petoyan, who mentioned that precise urban planning is now needed in Armenia more than ever before. Petoyan also added that for that goal, getting acquainted with the international practices inside Armenia is very helpful.

The founder of “Share Architects”, Florin Mindirigiu, saluted the organisation of the forum in Armenia, sharing that bringing the event here was a dream for them. “Thank you very much for hosting us today. And I’d like to say a big thank-you to “Renshin” because they decided to join “Share”. We know that when a big developer like “Renshin” wants to join a forum of architecture, it’s because they love design and they love to have quality architecture, and it’s very important for a developer. Because when a developer loves architecture they are doing something for the people, not only for themselves, but also for the new generation. This is very important because developers are building our future,” Mindirigiu mentioned in his speech.

Levon Kasparov, Operations Director of “Renshin” shared that exchanging international experience has always been at the core of the company's strategic development. “”Renshin” has always strived to be the first in the field to bring international experience to Armenia and develop new practices locally,” he added. Kasparov also mentioned that Armenia's participation in “Share Architects” forum is very encouraging because it would help Yerevan get recognised by international events and the real estate market.

Particularly emphasizing the involvement and acquisition of knowledge by novice professionals, Renshin also invited 8 students studying design and architecture to participate in the forum for free. One of the student participants, Ani Hovhannisyan, noted that she highly values participation in the forum as an experience, because thanks to it, students not only have the opportunity to get acquainted with international projects, but also see how these projects are being presented by professionals.
